Emily Miro, M.D.

Sports Medicine Specialist

Dr. Emily Miro is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. With a background in family medicine and public health, she takes a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal care, treating both acute injuries and chronic conditions.

Dr. Miro is passionate about helping patients of all ages and abilities stay active. Her clinical interests include female athlete health, bone health, and relative energy deficiency in sport (REDs). She emphasizes evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that may incorporate rehabilitation, medications, and ultrasound-guided procedures, with the goal of helping patients recover, improve function, and return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Miro also serves as a seasonal ski and snowboard resort medicine physician in Park City and has provided medical coverage for high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic-level athletes. Outside of clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Paulo, and their two children, as well as staying active and exploring Utah’s outdoors through trail running, hiking, skiing, and mountain biking.
