Physical Therapist

Chris McNerney, PT, DPT, CF-L2, Cert. DN, is a physical therapist with a passion for helping individuals move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they enjoy most. A proud graduate of the University of Utah, Chris earned both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the U, where he developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and human performance.

Chris has a special interest in performance rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and return-to-sport training. His treatment philosophy combines hands-on care with individualized exercise programming to address the root cause of dysfunction while empowering patients to achieve long-term success. He utilizes a variety of evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, dry needling, joint mobilizations and manipulations, neuromuscular re-education, and sport-specific rehabilitation.

As a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer (CF-L2) with over a decade of experience in the strength and conditioning space, Chris enjoys working with athletes and active individuals of all ages. He is currently pursuing his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification to further advance his expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Outside of the clinic, Chris is an avid golfer who enjoys running, lifting weights, and staying active. His personal experience with fitness and athletics gives him a unique understanding of the physical and mental demands his patients face. This perspective allows him to create meaningful treatment plans that help patients return to the activities they love with confidence.
