Alexander Kalke, AGACNP
Nurse Practitioner with Dr. Lind
Alex Kalke works with Dr. Lind to provide comprehensive knee care including operative and nonoperative management of acute and chronic knee pain.
Alex grew up in Michigan skiing on a landfill covered in ice, which constitutes a mountain in that state. After a stint working at a military resort in the Bavarian Alps in Germany, he decided that real mountains are far superior. He found his way to Utah where he worked in the ski industry for a number of years including 5 seasons at Park City Mountain resort as a ski patroller. He then began his career as a nurse at the University of Utah in orthopedic trauma and 6 years in the Emergency Department. He obtained both his nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Utah and is excited to bring his experience in helping patients from their acute injury or chronic pain through surgery and rehabilitation to get back to their sport or activity of choice.
When not at work, you can find Alex with his wife and two boys adventuring in the mountains (the real ones).
