Physical Therapist
Dr. Mary Cooley, DPT, brings over 20 years of experience in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy to The Orthopedic Partners. She holds both a Master’s and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah and is board-certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Mary also completed a Fellowship in Manual Orthopedic Physical Therapy through Regis University in Denver, further expanding her expertise in hands-on treatment approaches.
Mary has a special interest in dry needling, drawing from over 13 years of experience, and incorporates the Pilates method into rehabilitation programs. Her clinical approach emphasizes collaboration and communication with patients and their healthcare teams, helping individuals return to the activities they love, whether that’s skiing, gardening, or everyday movement.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Mary spent several years living and working in Australia before returning home. She also owned and operated a private practice in St. Louis for six years prior to joining The Orthopedic Partners.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her partner, Bill, their daughter, Bailey, and their husky, Snowy. Together, they love the mountains, skiing, hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors.
